Swiss Valley Post Office -
Latest news - Closed down on 16th October 2008.

Despite massive objections, the powers that be sadly decided that theSwiss Valley Post Office will be closed with no right of appeal!

The 'real reasons' for the decision to close will be posted here after a fuller explanation has been obtained.

Attempts are currently under way to try and obtain this information.

History of objections:
A package was sent to the Post Office Consultation Team on 10th July. It contained an outline of residents objections, petition forms, letters of support and also detailed photographs of Swiss Valley, Felinfoel and Dafen Post Offices, depicting the topography of the area.
